Time to get out to your plot and weed!
Due to COVID19, only registered gardeners may enter the garden, and only on their assigned days.
Here's the latest from RRCG President Teresa Kowalski:
"Dear Gardeners,
I have been in consultation with the Mayor and we can start to allow limited access to the garden starting April 25, 2020. You can go to the garden on specific days assigned to you between 10AM and 7PM. We will look at our situation May 9th and see if we can loosen/tighten any of this up.
Access to the garden is limited as follows:
I have made a schedule of days when you may access the garden. You may not come in at any other time. You will receive this info in a separate email. Any co-gardener you have who does not reside in your hame should not be at the garden when you are there. They can go earlier or later in the day. Those that live together are fine to garden together.
An alcohol-based hand sanitizer is available for cleaning your hands whenever necessary and at minimum as you enter and leave the garden. Also a 10% bleach solution is available to clean any surfaces you touch. Please be rigorous about attending to tool and watering can handles, wheelbarrow handles, faucets, and the locks and handles on the gates.
Speaking of faucets, the water is not turned on yet and plots are not tilled. It has been too wet.
Wear gloves and face masks at all times in the garden. Bandanas and scarves OK as long as the nose and mouth is covered. Keep six feet between you and anyone else you see at the garden. No physical contact (handshakes, hugs etc)."
