Hello Sunshine!
Welcome to the Rocky River Community Garden. The garden is currently
closed but Opening Day for 2024 is April 27th!
Gardeners, the opening and closing schedule has been posted. Please check your email for information. The schedule is also posted under the "More..." tab; the open schedule appears first with the close schedule below it if you scroll down.
Our work week has begun! Our Opening Prep Committee will be working April 20-26 to get the garden laid out and running. Remember, this week is for adding soil amendments to your plot, but not for planting just yet. Soil temperature should be 65 degrees consistently before planting warm weather crops. Cool weather crops like onions, lettuce, peas, spinach, beets, parsley, radishes, kale, arugula, Bok choy, and parsnips can be planted Opening Day while the soil temperature and days are still cool and under 65 degrees.
All plots are currently rented, but if you'd like to be added to the 2025 waitlist, please contact President Sharlene Marty.
For more information about our garden click on the tabs above.
And remember, bloom where you're planted!
