The plots are marked, tilled and ready for planting.
Even the water is on!
There are a few new items in the Rocky River Community Garden this year that you can't help but notice.
Foremost the new greenhouse.
This is the brainchild of a non-profit called River Sprouts. You can learn more about the organization here.
Though it is a separate entity from the Rocky River Community Garden we now all share the land.
The city also added more gravel and sand to the roadway into the garden.
Please remember you are only permitted to use the roadway for a few minutes to drop-off heavy items.
You must then move your car back to the Senior Center parking lot for longer term parking.
The RRCG is also adding more standing planting boxes this year.
Finally, please have something planted in the ground by May 20th so we know you are indeed using your plot.
Thank you! And see you in the garden.
