The garden will be open for the first time this year at 9am, Saturday, April 20.
The Garden will be closed at 5pm.
The plots aren't tilled but the name stakes will be in place so you can find your plot.
This is a good time to spread any amendments or soils you want to add to your plot. They can be dug in or tilled in when that occurs.
Peas, spinach and cabbage family crops can be planted now but bear in mind, the water isn't turned on yet and the garden isn't open every day yet. Just Saturdays for now.
The garden officially opens May 9th. Assuming the weather allows us to get the tilling done.
A reminder to our new gardeners, you must attend orientation. All new gardeners must make arrangements for an orientation session at the garden before they start to work in their plot.
You should have received an email with instruction on how to schedule an appointment.
See you in the garden!
